THE BAND
 




In December of 2002, Rick Chida, of Duluth, picked up a guitar and started playing and writing music based off of previous life experiences. He convinced his classmate Wes Laine, of Cloquet, to start playing bass in hopes of someday starting a band. As the two started playing together, Bill, of Anoka, also started playing bass. Aaron, a friend of Bill's also from Anoka, Joined in, and the three formed a band known as Shadows of Me.

Meanwhile, in Cloquet, Wes  joined two of his friends from church, Cory Christofferson, and Travis Hilton, in the band Lost Holiday, with Cory on guitar and Travis on drums.

BAND MEMBERS

 

 

 
 


 

Richard Chida was born January 7, 1988. He started playing guitar in December of 2002, because he outgrew his violin, and his mother gave him the choice between a new violin and a new guitar. He chose guitar and began writing and playing. He was also in Choir  

Travis Hilton was born October 14th 1989. He started playing drums when he was six years old. His brother-in-law, a "Jack of all trades" Musician told Travis to hop on a Roland Electronic Kit. He could keep a beat and drumming stuck. Travis explained why he kept playing.
